Qualified time served apprentice engineer in welding and fabrication. The opportunity provided through learning and working as an apprentice has built upon my technical skill base allowing me to gain extensive experience working with stainless steel.
I have proven myself through my contribution to a major research / testing and development project for the Nuclear Industry and gained a lot from working with other innovative engineers from Sellafield Ltd, Rolls-Royce and Babcock International. This mix of experiences from early in my engineering career has helped to provide me with a practical approach to problem solving and contribute effectively to the delivery of the project.
Key skills include: MIG, TIG and Plasma Arc welding, Robotic programming – handling and welding capability and Manufacture to design and drawings.
I recently won the National Nuclear Apprentice of the Year Award 2013 and the Nuclear supply Chain Apprentice of the year Award 2013.
I’m an active person who loves rock climbing and mountain biking. With an eager attitude to push myself and progress.
