Eddy Current Testing is an important non-destructive testing technique and TWI offers three courses to cover this topic. These courses are suited to non-destructive test operatives, inspectors and technicians.
Non-destructive tests are applied within multiple industries including aerospace, oil and gas, nuclear, power generation, medical, rail and general manufacturing, especially during quality control and health and safety of an asset’s life.
TWI Training and Examination courses:
Eddy Current Testing (ET) – This course looks at eddy current testing of various components and assets depending on which sector you choose to study. These sectors include, welds, tubes and aerospace structures.
Eddy Current Testing of Ferritic Welds – This course is suited to those who engage in the in-service application of eddy current techniques, writing techniques and instructions for the inspection of ferritic welds. It covers techniques and applications of eddy current inspection of ferritic welds.
Eddy Current Inspection of Tubes – This course looks at the principles of eddy current theory and practical eddy current examination of various tubing assets.
Completing training courses demonstrates your competence and also keeps you up-to-date with industry standards and practices.
