What is End Point Assessment?

This branch talk is organised specifically for members of the Teesside and Northumbria branches of the Welding Institute. Training providers and assessors are also very much welcome to attend.

Overview: End-point assessment (EPA) tests the knowledge, skills and behaviours that an apprentice or trainee has gained during their training. Unique to each standard, EPA demonstrates the competence of the applicant in their role and is very much valued by current and future employers. This talk will explain the how, why and what of EPA and its practical application.
