LAST CHANCE: Manufacture of Wonder Reef

Overview: Manufactured in 2021 Wonder reef is the first of its kind Dive site floating reef. Take a journey through the manufacture process up to its resting place, situated 2.5km and a 10- minute boat ride offshore, Wonder Reef is the latest destination along an enticing trail of Gold Coast dive sites. 

Speaker: Dean Terry IWT IEng

Speaker Biography: Dean has over 30 years’ experience in the welding and fabrication industry working on Rolling stock passenger and freight, Mining equipment, Sugar milling, Pressure equipment and castings. In these sectors utilizing MMAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW ESW, GTAW welding processes of which were exposed to forms of NDT. 20 of these working years as an NDT technician or welding supervisor/welding coordinator working with industry leading companies and innovative local fabrication shops.
