All Members of The Welding Institute are invited to join us for this free event on 16 October 2024 at TWI Ltd, Granta Park, Cambridge CB21 6AL. 

Registration begins at 9 AM.

This event will provide fantastic networking opportunities and will include: 

Technical Presentations: 9:15 AM to 13:00 PM

The presentations will provide context to the development of the hydrogen infrastructure and specific technical challenges and development areas of interest to those involved in materials, materials joining and integrity management.

Focus on Membership: 13:00 PM to 16:30 PM

Our focus on membership will provide a range of workshops.

  • First Workshop: Reflections from David Wrathmall (Interim CEO) and Chair Humbert Mozzi

There will then be an opportunity to attend one of three following workshops:

  • Workshop 1: Enhancing support to the branches with presenter Warren Bath (Associate Director) and Chair Gareth Hopkin
  • Workshop 2: Development of future skills requirements to meet industry demand with presenter Stephen Wisniewski (Associate Director) and Chair Joe McGee
  • Workshop 3: Making more of membership benefits with presenter Paul Woollin (Director) and Chair Peter Stones

Concluding these workshops a presentation of awards will be hosted.

Buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided
