Overview:- With the introduction of Industry 4.0 in 2011 the digitisation of welding data has come to the fore of welding technology.The ditigital data that is now available can assist and help everyone within the welding industry from the development and creation of Welding Procedures to Welder Qualifications, tracking of prolongation and Production monitorng. This presentation will give an overview of the products and software available from TVC to assist all personnel working within the welding industry.

Speaker Biography:- Having worked at OIS Engineering Ltd in Great Yarmouth developing, manufacturing and selling the orginal PAMS (Portable Arc Monitoring Systems) from 1987 to 1994, Chris Cathles left OIS to start The Validation Centre (TVC) Ltd in 1995. Initially TVC was set up with his business partner Kim Hastings to provide service, support and calibration of Welding Inspection and NDT equipment. However, in 1997 TVC started the development of their own Weld-data logging and Monitoring system and since then have developed equipment covering all aspects of Weld-data logging and monitoring
