Alistair will explain how welder qualifications and certification have been impacted this year through the recent update of UKAS document Gen 5 and do so from the perspective of the welding engineer and welder.

Alistair McGeoch, IMarEng, IEng, MInstMarEST, MILM, ASME Authorised Inspector.  

Alistair is an independent contract engineer surveyor with 30+ years experience in pressure vessel fabrication inspection, weld inspection, and welding certification across many industries and manufacturing codes.  Qualified CSWIP 3.1 weld inspector and PCN Radiography interpretation.
