What will the event cover?

Health & Safety in Welding – Innovation of seamless cored wires developed to reduce the risk for welders & operators coming from welding fumes.



What will you learn?


The presentation will be discussing the development of our Low Manganese fume seamless cored wires followed by a practical demonstration in our newly opened application technology centre where we will utilise some of our automation to demonstrate the consumables.

Meet the speakers: 


Stuart joined Bohler Welding in 1998. Studied Metallurgy up to HND level before completing EWE via TWI Cambridge. Now responsible for application services for the full UK with key account responsibilities in Nuclear, Oil and Gas and Pipeline segments.


Gary joined Bohler Welding 2016. Gary has an extensive practical background having spent over 20 years for Babcocks welding on power and nuclear stations. He is IWS and PCN Level 2 welding inspector. He is Cored wire development manager for the business.


Jonathan joined Bohler Welding in 2022 after working for Gullco International for more than 22 years. Jonathan is responsible for the Wales, North West and Midlands sales area and has a huge experience in automation.
