London and Eastern Counties Branches visit to Sonatest Ltd, Milton Keynes
London and Eastern Counties Branches invite you to their October Event: Visit to Sonatest Ltd, Milton Keynes
What will the event cover:
Sonatest will present their innovative ultrasonic test equipment with a focus on their new XEO phased array UT (PAUT) system. We welcome all Branch members and those with a particular interest in non-destructive testing and weld quality.
Visit Format:
This event will focus on how the Sonatest XEO can support the inspection of a range of welding applications. The event will begin with a short tour of the Sonatest facility for attendees joining us in person, providing a look at where our ultrasonic testing equipment is manufactured. Following the tour, we will move into a technical presentation focused on the Sonatest XEO and its application across various weld inspection challenges. The session will highlight key features and capabilities of the XEO, demonstrating how they can be used to support efficient, reliable and practical weld inspections. After the presentation, in person attendees will have the opportunity to take part in hands on demonstrations at dedicated inspection stations. This will provide the chance to use the XEO on representative weld samples, explore its functionality and discuss specific applications directly with the Sonatest team. A Q&A session will also be included, giving both in-person and online attendees the opportunity to ask technical questions and discuss their own inspection requirements with our team.
