Teesside Branch Online Technical Presentation:  An Overview of WeldNet

The Teesside Branch invite you to their November online technical presentation:  An Overview of WeldNet

Presentation overview:

In this session, Ben Unthank introduces WeldNet, the welding management platform he founded and is building, and the thinking behind it.

Ben will tell the story from the welder's side of the bench to founder, explain why he started building it, show where the build has reached with a preview of the procedure and qualification chain, and set out what is coming next. WeldNet is still in build, so this is an early and candid look at the direction, with time for questions and discussion.

What will the event cover:

WeldNet is a welding management platform for regulated projects where it is not enough to say a weld is done: you have to prove it. One system carries a project from personnel and drawings through the weld register, WPS and WPQR, welder qualification and validation, material and consumable certificates, inspection, NDE and PWHT planning, work packs, execution, results and repair, to a lifetime quality record generated by the work rather than assembled afterwards. Ben, a welder turned welding engineer and founder, will share where WeldNet came from, the philosophy behind it, where the build stands and what is coming.

Meet the speaker:

Ben Unthank IEng MWeldI IWE/EWE Company Founder/Director of WeldNet
