Offshore Energy Technical Group

The offshore energy sector relies on engineering expertise to design, build and maintain facilities that operate safely and reliably in demanding marine environments. From oil and gas installations and subsea pipelines to offshore wind farms, power transmission infrastructure and emerging clean-energy developments, maintaining assets and infrastructure presents ongoing technical challenges.

The Offshore Energy Technical Group provides a forum for discussing engineering developments, technologies and challenges across the offshore energy landscape. Its events offer opportunities to explore industry best practice, consider new approaches and share experience from across both established and emerging sectors.

By bringing together engineers, operators, technology developers and industry professionals, the group encourages the exchange of technical knowledge and supports continued learning. It provides a platform to discuss common challenges, learn from practical experience and explore developments relevant to the future of offshore energy, including oil and gas, offshore wind, marine energy, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen production, and other low-carbon offshore technologies.
